2008: the fullness of 30th Jubilee

-the coming of Christ

In the year of jubilee, God commanded his people to "Proclaim liberty in the land to all its inhabitants." (Leviticus 25:10) So after Jesus was baptized, he went to a synagogue and there, he read the scripture of Isaiah 61:1 saying "The spirit of the Sovereign Lord God is upon me...He has sent me to proclaim liberty..." He was sent to do so because those people who supposed to do did not do. Whereas "Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." (Matthew 5:18)

Because jubilee is a law that requires 70 cycle of 49 years to complete just like the sabbath for the land that requires 70 to complete (2Chro.36:21), and it hasn't been complete yet in time of Christ ministry, hence it remains to be completed. So in his letter to Hebrews 4:9 when Paul said "There remains a sabbath resting for the people of God (NWT)," he was in no doubt talking to jubilee sabbath. And as it remain, the law it convey demands that liberty should be keep proclaimed "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage...For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another." (Galatians 5:1,13)

Paul was thus implying that 'in Christians, to keep the law of Christ and to keep away from sins' is a means to observe jubilee.

But we are talking to spiritual provisions of God to which "they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief." Because of this, and because of their being beloved for the sakes of their forefathers (Romans 11:28), "Again, he [God] limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts" (Heb 4:6,7). Paul was talking of a second chance for Israel. The word again imply that a first designated day was already over, but this did not accomplish its purpose, thus, another day was designated in the hope that on those day Israel will finally listen, another period of time appointed by God for Israel to convert to Christ.

The first period was referring to 70 weeks in Daniel 9:24. If 70 weeks is a conglomeration of 490 years and 70 '7th year,' then, provided that the rest that remain is referring to jubilee, the period of second chance is 70 cycle of jubilees, that is: a compound of 3,430 years and 70 '50th year.' 3,430 years is the sum of '49 years cycle' multiplied by 70 times, and was reckoned from the first jubilee, Ethanim (Sept/Oct.) 1422 to Ethanim of 1421 BCE continue till Ethanim 2008 to Ethanim of 2009. The remaining 70 '50th' on the other hand was apparently numbered by God when Israel was restored to their homeland.

This accounting is a payment for the debt of Israel concerning jubilee, it requires 70 to complete but there ancestors did not observe it, so God himself has to make it for them because "my word that goes forth from my mouth will prove to be. It will not return to me without results." (Isaiah 55:10,11) Hence on Jeremiah 34:17 God said: "Ye have not hearkened unto me, in proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbour: behold, I proclaim a liberty for you, saith the LORD, to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth." The declaration of God signify that Israel will be driven away from their homeland through all manner of plagues until the time when God would pluck them out from all the kingdoms of the earth* "to return each one to his possession" (Lev.25:13) to settle the jubilee they broke forth.

Because Israel was restored on 1948* it was undoubtedly the year when the word of God "Behold, I proclaim a liberty for you" was fulfilled.

Note that there are two occasions in Israel were liberty was to be proclaimed, the year of release (7th yr)* and jubilee year (50th yr),* but we are sure that this one in Jeremiah was referring to jubilee year because the payment for year of release has been made already during 1 BCE to 70 CE (see Year of Release). So beginning 1948, each year that passes Israel was viewed by God as jubilee year until to its completion on 2018 when the amount of 70 is achieved.

To confirm,

The bible prophesied that Jesus was to come at the fullness of time "to restore everything" (Acts 3:19-21; Eph.1:10). According to Galatians 4:4 the first coming of Christ has occurred at the fullness of time.* Jesus was born on 1 BCE exactly 30th jubilee,* so the fullness of time is 30th jubilee had it been observe by Israel. Since he is to come for the second time another fullness of time must be reckoned to determine his year of return, now, we know that the fullness of time is 30th jubilee so all we need to locate the date of Christ return is to add another 30 from the previous one, thus 30 and 30 is 60 jubilees. But we are not going to count these jubilees at the end of every 49 years cycle because each cycle is void of jubilee due to the fact that Israel did not observe it. So we're going to count these 60 at the time when the entire missing jubilee was recounted by God upon Israel, that is: 1948. So counting these 60 starting 1948 the result would point to 2008 -the fullness of time in terms of Christ return and the fullness of time in terms of completion of 70 49's. Thus confirmed that each year that passes Israel was viewed by God as jubilee year.

The remaining 10 years in Israel -beginning 2008- would completely settle the 70 jubilee that their forefathers had missed to benefit due to disobedience. The word settle conveys two meaning: 'pay' and 'take up abode,' so when 70 is achieved, settlement is finished, and therefore Israel should lose its abode, unless they convert to Christ as a nation not as an individual.

"These enemies of mine that did not want me to become king over them bring here and slaughter them before me" (Luke 19:11-27)
